This is a set of 6 blank notecards on white cardstock with matching envelopes. The vertical cards measure 4 x 5.5 inches and feature WPA Posters. The WPA stands for the Work Projects Administration in the late 1930s and early 1940s. Their mission was to get America working and this included artists. These might look primitive by todays standards, but the artists point was to be bold and get the message across. One of these cards reads, "The Enemy is Syphilis", another "Careless Talk Costs Lives", but my favorite is "Don't Mix 'Em" with a picture of whiskey and gasoline. Perfect for a vintage collector or a person that still writes letters, like me. That's retro, right? or should I say "write"?
