This is a set of 6 blank notecards with brightly colored backgrounds on white cards with matching white envelopes. On each card is pictured a different ride at Crystal Beach! Crystal Beach was an amazing local amusement park that brought Americans and Canadians together from the turn of the century to 1989 when it closed because of competition and rising costs. The images included in this set are the Magic Carpet, which was a HUGE funhouse. It had tons of rooms and was so big that in the middle you could exit the ride. There's a picture of the Giant Coaster which, if I remember right was big and yellow, the park entrance sign, the Penny Arcade. There's a picture of the Comet Roller coaster that still runs at the Great Escape amusement park in Lake George, NY, and an interior shot of the Crystal Ballroom dance hall. The Crystal Ballroom was World famous and attracted the biggest bands of the swing era. Perfect for a vintage collector or a person that still writes letters, like me. That's retro, right? or should I say "write"? These cards measure 5x7.
